Kate is almost 1!

I can't believe Kate will be 1 in a couple weeks!
The first year of Oliver's life seemed to go by really slow,
but Kate's has gone by so much faster.Maybe
it's because she started walking at 8 months, so
she was hardly in the baby stage. She is still very
bald though.

Update

Last weekend we headed to Zilker park and rode the train.
Since our time here in Austin is potentially limited I'm feeling
the urge to do as much as we can.

My little ballerina

Probably not because I don't want her feet messed up,
nonetheless I loved how her dress fell on Sunday when
we put her in the bumbo.

Oliver's Birthday

This past Saturday was Oliver's birthday and since
we don't have any family in town we decided to
invite over a few of Oliver's friends. They played in
the water, ate cupcakes and juice boxes, and played
with cars. We had such a great time and are so happy
to have made such great friends here in Texas. Oliver
was in heaven.

We were so busy playing host and hostess that we
hardly got any pictures, one before and one after.
Luckily a couple of our friends filmed it with our video
camera.

Good Friends

Oliver loves Kate, the key is just getting him to
be gentle with her. I think he's slowly learning.

Oliver woke up happy

Oliver never smiles for pictures, but this morning
he was one happy little boy. Luckily I had my camera
right there and was able to get a couple pictures of
him smiling.

Kate's Blessing

Kate was blessed in church this past weekend and Zach
gave her a beautiful blessing. Both sets of parents were
able to come along with Ethan and Jennifer. We loved having
them here and reminded us how much we love to be
around family. It was a great weekend.
